Hope everyone has had a nice weekend. We just wanted to take a minute to say a big thank you to everyone who has commented on our posts.

We’ve had almost 400 comments over the weekend so it feels like a big task to respond individually but please know we have all read them and feel really grateful to hear how much the community appreciates everything we’ve done over the years.

It’s been a rollercoaster week but Barton, you’ve kept us so busy! Thank you to the lads for working so hard regardless of the difficult circumstances.

So many of you have been in to buy one last thing from us and we are so appreciative of that. We’ve been inundated with thoughtfully written cards and thank you gifts and that has genuinely meant so much to us all.

We have two days left of trading. Any orders placed before Tuesday will be fulfilled and delivered. Once again thank you all for showing us such kindness.

Closure of Lindsey Relay - Barton Euronics Store.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Lindsey Relay, Euronics with the final day of trading being Tuesday, 31st March.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, shaped by a number of challenges facing small independent retailers. Rising operating costs, increasing regulatory requirements, and significant shifts in the way manufacturers choose to sell their products, with far more now being directed online rather than through local shops have all contributed to a trading environment that is no longer sustainable for a small, community‑based business like ours.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to all our customers for their loyalty, kindness, and support over the years. Serving the community has been a privilege, and we are deeply proud of the relationships built and the trust placed in us.

Over the years we have been blessed with staff who understood our values and worked hard to uphold them. We would like to say a huge thank you to all our staff past and present for always going above and beyond for our customers and for representing us so well.

We would like to wish our current staff team all the very best for the future - thank you for everything Col, Ben, Josh and Nick.

❄️ Special delivery coming tomorrow ❄️

We are so very excited as our special friend and Euronics mascot Indie the penguin 🐧 is delivering us a very special gift that has been collected from Santa himself! 📪

From this Saturday we will have a North Pole mailbox in our window so if any children (or grown ups) would like to pop their special lists or letters into the mailbox Indie will deliver them ensuring Santa receives them in time for the big day! Please note as Santa is so very busy he won’t be able to reply to the letters.

We will be open for Barton Christmas Festival on Saturday 29th November so feel free to pop in, we may have some special Christmas treats for anyone wanting to post a letter 🎅
