Introducing our new client, Meddygfa Tywi!
Named after the local river Tywi, the GP surgery provides essential medical care to 3,500 patients in Nantgaredig and surrounding towns.
Since the inception of the previous agreement, the surgery have seen a steady increase in patient numbers, however the legacy NEC telephone system on site was struggling to cope with the increased demand.
With an expectation to deliver call stacking and an increased dependency on telephone triage, the surgery were only able to manage 8 concurrent calls. As a result, patients were hearing an engaged tone when all 8 lines were in use causing frustration for both the patients and the practice management team. GP's were also unable to dial out at busy periods.
By introducing Medi-Cloud, the surgery has seen a immediate improvement on their ability to manage calls more efficiently improving the overall experience for both staff and patients. Medi-Cloud has also simplified the process for obtaining key information required for the management team to demonstrate the practice is regularly meeting KPI’s set out by their health board.
