Before becoming CEO of DAU Components, Paul worked his way through the business from the ground up. Admin, sales, leadership, you name it. No shortcuts, just experience earned the long way round.

And long before that? A barrow-boy at Butlins. Not glamorous, but it taught him something that’s stuck ever since: resilience.

Today, under Paul’s leadership, DAU Components has grown into one of the UK’s leading electronic component distributors, quietly supporting the kind of innovations most people take for granted.

In fact, there’s a good chance that every payment terminal you’ve ever used contains technology DAU has helped bring to life.

Outside of work, things are a little less predictable. You’ll find Paul trackside watching his youngest race go-karts, or across a chessboard from his eldest, where results aren’t always in his favour.

Vicky is a naturally friendly and inquisitive Business Development Manager who takes the time to really understand her clients and what they need. She’s brilliant at building strong relationships, and she thrives on solving problems, especially when a brief calls for a bespoke solution. That’s exactly where she does her best work at DAU Components.

When she gets a quiet moment (thanks to her kids), you’ll usually find her reading. From biographies and classics to crime, thrillers and adventure, she reads just about everything and at an impressive pace, getting through around 100 books a year.

She also loves to travel, ideally somewhere with a beach and a piña colada waiting. A regular visitor to Chiclana de la Frontera, she’s already dreaming of owning a little bolt-hole there one day.
