We had a fantastic turnout, and the Bake Off was a real treat, with some seriously impressive bakes on show (and some very difficult judging decisions). Congratulations to our prize winners and thank you to everyone who baked and donated.

We raised £1200 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every penny will help provide vital support to people living with cancer.

🌑☀️ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙜𝙤 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣... 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Tonight, Northern Ireland gets a rare glimpse of something pretty special - a deep partial solar eclipse. 🌒

From around 6:10pm until 8:00pm, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun, with more than 93% of the Sun obscured across much of Northern Ireland and the maximum occurring at around 7:08pm.

It got me thinking about something much closer to home…

At first glance, an eclipse looks simple, the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun.

But behind that simple event is an incredible amount of precision, timing and coordination.

And that's not a million miles away from what we do at Nitronica.

Whether we're assembling a PCB, building a cable harness, wiring a panel or delivering a complex electro-mechanical assembly, the finished product can sometimes look deceptively simple.

But underneath it is a whole chain of decisions, components, processes, measurements, testing and people, all needing to work together precisely.
