This Subzero PA arrived completely dead. Initial measurements didn't show anything obviously wrong, and replacing the entire PSU/AMP board simply wasn't cost-effective. However, a detailed diagnosis with an oscilloscope revealed that the control IC was actually alive and trying to start—it was just blocked by a faulty component!
We successfully performed a component-level repair, bringing the PA back to life for less than half the cost of a replacement.
