I started Little Bramble as a side hustle 9 years ago, dipping in and out and not really having a clue what I was doing.

Long, long hours while on maternity leave with Freya were spent learning entirely new skill sets and languages around digital design, printing, setting up an online business, learning the ins and outs of selling on Etsy and phrases like SEO. It was firmly a side project, a dream, a creative outlet, crammed into nap times and evenings and often done with a baby on my lap.

Fast forward to Lockdown and COVID and things picked up speed. Orders were coming in thick and fast and after three years of steady growth, the dream of running my own business was inching towards reality. Pregnant me, blowing dandelions with 3 year old Freya and silently wishing that my side project would become my livelihood.

And that wish came true. How lucky I am that my hobby is now a full time, successful business. I've made it to being in the top 0.1% of businesses on Etsy. Over 70,000 orders and enough revenue to help us move house, create my own office, to pay for holidays and birthdays and Christmases. I never have to ask for time off to be with my children, or place holiday requests. I work while listening to podcasts and drinking coffee, taking breaks to put a load of laundry in, or on an evening after putting my children to bed.

And for that, a huge, big THANK YOU to every single person who buys a card from Little Bramble and keeps that dream going. I am honestly so grateful
