Please join us in welcoming Nick Berrow as the new Training Manager at SolaX Power UK & Ireland.
Nick joins us from an electrical background, having spent the last 3 years running his own business specialising in domestic work, rewires and EV installations.
Importantly, he isn't joining from a classroom environment. He's coming from the tools.
Having installed SolaX products himself, Nick understands the realities of installation work and believes training should be practical, hands-on and genuinely useful beyond the training room.
Nick was looking for the next stage of his career, somewhere he could continue developing professionally, build his technical knowledge and help others through diagnostics and training.
Outside of work you'll likely find him in the gym, preparing for HYROX, following Birmingham City home and away (we'll let that one slide), fishing or explaining why F1 and rally simulators definitely count as training.
One thing Nick can't stand? Tradespeople not tidying up after themselves.
His approach to training is straightforward: practical sessions, straight answers and helping installers leave with knowledge they can actually use on-site.
In Nick's words:
"I want installers leaving training saying: that was actually useful."
Welcome to the team Nick.
You'll be seeing him at future training sessions, roadshows and events across the UK & Ireland.
Before anyone asks, yes, they're empty training units, Nick still insisted on carrying two.
