Imagine leaving higher education with absolutely no idea what to do next. You have “borrowed” tens of thousands of pounds, finished university and that’s it. Time to watch more daytime TV or join the masses delivering takeaway food or processing online orders.

I would suggest that the education system has failed that person and the many thousands who find themselves in a similar situation.

If universities are prepared to accept the money, then they should accept some, if not all the responsibility to ensure that the pupils are aiming towards a specific job and in their final two years are ensuring that they are on a number of placements to ensure that they walk out of education into suitable employment.

If the university fails, then the fees become null and void.

How does Radioswap do business? What risks do we take? How can this benefit you? And in what way do we benefit the environment?

For those of you who don’t know, here is a little background and update.

Radioswap was conceived back in the 1990s and has been trading since 1999 (Incorporated in 2007).

The initial and ongoing concept of the business is to buy surplus and unwanted radio communications equipment from manufacturers, dealers and larger end users and resell back to dealers and smaller end users who are looking for a more cost effective communication solution. Little has changed in the last 20+ years.

During this time, we have saved hundreds of thousands of two way radios and associated accessories from being prematurely destroyed or otherwise disposed of unnecessarily.

Unlike most resellers who generally only buy to order, with a purchase order and profit margin already known, Radioswap buy with no customer in mind.

This has to be reflected in any offer that we make. Afterall, if you no longer want certain products, there is a possibility that no one else will want them. But this is a risk I am prepared to take, and whilst we continue to sell large volumes of equipment, we continue to amass substantial stock.

The benefit to the dealer of end user, is that, if you are open minded about the equipment that you want to use, then you can find some really good bargains here at Radioswap.

Whilst dealing with surplus stock can be rather haphazard, we have an altogether different approach for our ever growing range of compatible two way radio accessories. We frequently review our accessory sales history and try to ensure that we have three months stock, based on the last 12 months sales, ensuring that we can meet your needs most of the time.

For those looking for a cost effective communication solution, but would rather have new equipment, we also have our range of Tritan analogue, DMR and 4G POC two way radios. All Tritan products are retail packaged with the end user in mind.

Back in the early days of the project we paid a visit to BAPCO 2023 to push the project with companies who are involved in the supply of communications equipment to the emergency service's.
Whilst there we met John a representative from South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust , on hearing our story John kindly facilitated a donation of a large amount of radio equipment with the Intention of us moving this into Ukraine.
After consulting with numerous agencies and those far more knowledgeable than us it was decided that with SCAS kind permission we move this equipment on in the UK and convert the money into funds to purchase essential first aid kits.
Mick from Radioswap Ltd dealt with us and after we dropped off the equipment we took receipt of a sum on money and on top of that Radio Swap kindly donated some handheld radios for us to use on future trips.
A massive thanks to all involved. A real show of support.🇬🇧🇺🇦
