Another excellent installation from our projects team...

Let's revisit an outstanding lighting installation by SRD Projects at the UAL: London College of Communication.

Ranked 2nd in the World for Art and Design, UAL: University of the Arts London is at the forefront of Creative education. As such this progressive University wanted to provide a new green screen motion capture studio for their students to learn and experiment in.

SRD helped make this happen by designing and installing a Doughty Engineering Ltd Studio Rail system with Pantographs allowing for the suspension of KINO FLO and Litepanels LED fixtures as supplied and installed by SRD projects.

Fixed Andolite Internally Wired Bars provide the Power and Data infrastructure for the equipment.

Students and Lecturers can secure and suspend, projectors cameras or any other piece of equipment they require in the Studio and place them where needed on the moving Doughty Studio Rail thus creating a versatile teaching space.

We were delighted with the outcome of the installation and will be publishing our Case Study for this project on our website in the coming weeks.

Alongside the 12x10m Eurotruss structure at Canterbury academy, the RASE team had the great privilege of supplying full production for Bravo Productions Tonbridge Music Weekend . The team deployed the Eurotruss 10x8 stage structure, adorned with the fantastic TW AUDiO VERA36 tops and S33 subs for the main PA, while VERA20 took care of the delays. A wet... But wonderful weekend!

I'm glad it wasn't just me that was confused by the new emergency 85dB(A) sound level limit for recorded music in licensed premises. This article is worth a read if this affects you. We will be available to assist with setting levels in your venue using our Class 1 calibrated sound level meters once we get clarification on the parameters...
