Her involvement has gone beyond support alone — Megan has actively helped expand our store’s reach by engaging with the local Nepalese community, building trust, and encouraging meaningful participation. As a result, she has helped introduce new customers, create a welcoming space for diverse cultures, and contribute to increased footfall and community engagement.

Our profession is people facing and the lockdowns have been tough for us as we are missing the interaction we have with colleagues, customers, family and friends everyday.

Although, we have virtually worked together during the lockdowns as a team to continue with our training and personal development plans, we started to think if we feel like this, how must other people who suffer with mental health issues be feeling? And with support for charities and non-profit organization's stretched as far as it ever has been before, who is supporting these people?

So we decided we wanted to help!
The best way we thought of was to challenge ourselves to complete as many miles as possible in March as a team.

Money raised will be for Andover Mind which is a local charity for people who experience, or are affected by, mental health distress. Andover Mind help enable people to achieve their individual potential and to participate in society. They also engage with the local community to promote mental well-being and to challenge stigma and discrimination.

We are proud to have such a source of inspiration in our community and hope we can support them through these ever-changing times.
