We're looking for a talented filmmaker who loves creating exceptional content.
From offshore energy projects and documentaries to tourism campaigns, food brands and international commercial productions, you'll help craft films that connect with audiences and tell stories that matter.

At Signal, you'll work on award-winning productions, take on exciting creative challenges and collaborate with a passionate team committed to producing outstanding work.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has a strong eye for cinematography and visual storytelling
• Has a proven track record working in the industry
• Is confident filming on location, both onshore and offshore
• Combines creative shooting skills with a strong narrative instinct in the edit
• Has expert-level knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
• Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work
• Enjoys collaborating with clients and colleagues to bring ideas to life
• Offshore experience preferable, although training could be provided

With extensive experience as a cameraman, editor, certified drone pilot, and qualified for offshore filming projects, Alex's impressive portfolio includes capturing dynamic footage on land and at sea, producing engaging content for both local businesses and global organisations.

As Signal continues to grow and expand its creative offering, his expertise will play an important role in creating content that informs and inspires, helping clients to stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

As we wrap up 2025, we want to share a genuine thank you.

To our clients, partners, and suppliers your trust, openness and ambition have made this year what it was. So proud of what this team deliver and what we’ve achieved together.

We’ve continued to grow. From hero films, corporate stories and recruitment campaigns to harbours, housing, energy projects and global updates. Sometimes with ROVs, sometimes with Japanese subtitles, and occasionally alongside tall ships ⛵ It’s been a year full of variety, challenges and momentum.

A few highlights from 2025:

We welcomed two brilliant new team members, Jack and Glen 🙌
�We hosted work experience placements with Roman, Joel and Georgia (along with several students from NESCOL), giving the next generation of filmmakers hands-on industry experience.
�2025 has been a year worth replaying and we’re excited for what 2026 holds.

We’re delighted to welcome Glen Ainslie to the Signal team, an accomplished filmmaker with more than eight years’ experience producing online content, TV commercials, and live broadcasts.

Glen brings technical expertise and creative storytelling, with a passion for crafting content that captures attention and connects with audiences. His arrival strengthens our in-house production capability as we continue to deliver imaginative, broadcast-quality films for clients across a wide range of sectors.

Glen joins at an exciting time of growth, alongside Jack Millington, our recently appointed 3D animator and designer. We can’t wait to see the creativity they’ll bring to upcoming projects.
