A look back at AXPONA Audio Expo North America

The JPS2 and JPS3 were showcased in a demonstration led by Stereo Haven , alongside Charlie Schnyder and Mike Pranka.

In room 624, the system beautifully expressed the Jadis signature: a sound that is natural, expressive, and deeply musical. Playing Neil Young on vinyl, the listening experience felt authentic and alive, true to the emotion of the original recording.

Jadis, a story born from a conviction

In 1983, as tube technology seemed to be fading into oblivion, two passionate enthusiasts, André Calmettes and Jean-Paul Caffi, made a bold bet: to bring it back into the spotlight.

They chose the name "Jadis" — a nod to the past… and a deliberate play on words to breathe new life into a technology many had written off as obsolete. In this spirit, the first amplifiers came to life, already driven by a strong conviction: sound must be alive, embodied, almost tangible. Tube technology quickly became the obvious choice, for its unique ability to render the warmth and presence of music.

Designed nearly 30 years ago, the Orchestra has become a true best-seller. Originally created as an entry point into the Jadis universe, it has won over audiophiles with its legendary reliability and timeless musicality.
