We are incredibly proud and excited to announce that RSA Cosmos will move into its brand-new 1,500 m² headquarters in Sorbiers, France, in summer 2027! 🏗️🎉
This major milestone reflects our continued growth and our ambition to keep pushing the boundaries of planetarium technology worldwide. 🌍🔭

As our business continues to expand, our current premises can no longer accommodate our growing team and activities. Our new headquarters will provide the space and facilities we need to support our development, strengthen collaboration, welcome our international users and partners, and continue creating innovative immersive experiences that bring the wonders of the Universe closer to audiences around the world. 🌠🪐✨

🏗️ A new home for our next chapter
Located on a former industrial site in Sorbiers, this project also represents the transformation of a brownfield site into a new home for innovation, creativity and technological excellence. 💫

📍 On Wednesday, October 7, we proudly celebrated the laying of the first stone of our future headquarters, alongside Olivier Villetelle, Mayor of Sorbiers, and Régis Juanico, Mayor of Ville de Saint-Étienne and President of Saint-Etienne Métropole, as well as our project partners. 🥂🤝 A symbolic moment marking the beginning of an exciting new adventure for RSA Cosmos! 🌟

🙏 We would like to express our sincere thanks to the City of Sorbiers and Saint-Étienne Métropole for their support and commitment to this project, as well as to all the partners contributing to the transformation of the site. Together, we are helping build a bright future for our company and our local community. 💙

It was a great pleasure for RSA Cosmos to take part in the XXIX Encontro da Associação Brasileira de Planetários (ABP), held in Maricá, Rio de Janeiro, from September 21 to 25.

This annual event brought together planetarium professionals from across Brazil for several days of presentations, discussions, demonstrations and knowledge sharing.

For RSA Cosmos, it was a valuable opportunity to meet with members of the Brazilian planetarium community and present the latest developments in our software and immersive solutions.

We were delighted to showcase the latest innovations of SkyExplorer 2027, including our new mass-instanced Saturn Rings with realistic self-gravity wakes, Daphnis-induced wave patterns, and the faint E and G rings.

We also presented the possibility of taking a journey to the very center of the Milky Way, exploring the Nuclear Star Cluster, the S-Stars orbiting the supermassive black hole, and our new volumetric representation of Sgr A*.

Another highlight was our new volumetric model of the Pleiades, featuring advanced multi-scattering of light for an even more realistic representation of this iconic star cluster.

Finally, we introduced our successful H2O, Hazelnut, and Voyage of the Stars fulldome shows, specially designed for young audiences.

The exchanges with the community were extremely valuable to us. They help us better understand how planetariums are evolving and how technology can continue to support science communication, education and immersive storytelling.

A big thank you to the ABP team, the Planetário de Maricá, and the Instituto de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação de Maricá (ICTIM) for organizing this inspiring event and for the warm welcome.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who attended our presentations and demonstrations and shared their experience with us.

We look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with the Brazilian planetarium community and to supporting the development of immersive science communication in Brazil.

✨ Ce fut un plaisir de participer au colloque de l’APLF (Association des Planétariums de Langue Française) à Vulcania, pendant trois journées riches en présentations, démonstrations et échanges.
(𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴.)

Nous avons eu le plaisir de présenter en direct les dernières innovations de SkyExplorer 2027 dans le plus grand planétarium 10K de France, équipé par RSA Cosmos. Nous avons notamment pu présenter notre nouveau modèle des anneaux de Saturne avec instanciation massive, intégrant les structures d'auto-gravité (self-gravity wakes), les vagues induites par Daphnis, ainsi que les anneaux ténus E et G. Nous avons également présenté la possibilité d’effectuer une plongée au centre de la Voie lactée et d’y observer le Nuclear Star Cluster (NSC), les étoiles S, ainsi que le trou noir volumétrique Sgr A*. Enfin, nous avons pu présenter notre nouveau modèle volumétrique des Pléiades avec multi-diffusion de la lumière.
Nous avons également présenté SkyEx Rover, notre solution de planétarium mobile, ainsi que nos derniers spectacles fulldome.

Nous avons été fascinés par les nombreuses présentations des utilisateurs de SkyExplorer, qui ont montré les différentes façons dont ils utilisent le système pour rendre la science accessible au public.

Nous avons aussi eu de nombreux échanges très enrichissants avec les professionnels des planétariums. Ces discussions sont toujours précieuses pour nous et nous permettent de mieux comprendre l’évolution des besoins de la communauté.

🏆 L’un des temps forts de l’événement : H2O - Les statuts cosmiques de l’eau a remporté deux prix au Festival Fulldome : le Prix du Public et le Prix des Professionnels !

🚀🌌 RSA Cosmos at BAP 2026, Unveiling SkyExplorer 2027 at Sherwood Observatory & Planetarium! ✨🔭

We are delighted to be attending BAP 2026 at Sherwood Observatory & Planetarium, a facility equipped by RSA Cosmos in collaboration with our long-standing partner, ST Engineering Antycip. 🤝🌟

During the event, we had the pleasure of unveiling the latest version of our planetarium software: SkyExplorer 2027! 🚀💫

🎥 A live demonstration of SkyExplorer 2027
As part of BAP 2026, we delivered a live demonstration using the planetarium's immersive projection system, showcasing the capabilities and latest features of our software such as new Mass-Instanced Saturn Rings with Self-gravity wakes, Daphnis induced waves patterns, E and G rings, the possibility to make a Core Dive in the MilkyWay and see the Nuclear Star cluser, S-Stars and Sgr*A volumetric black hole and our Multi-scattering Volumetric Pleiades. 🌍✨

The Sherwood Planetarium features a 4K projection system with two Sony projectors GTZ380, providing an immersive and high-quality visual experience for audiences exploring the universe. 🔭🌠 It was a pleasure to demonstrate how SkyExplorer 2027 brings astronomy, science and storytelling to life in this impressive environment.

🚀 Baku’s Tusi-Bohm Planetarium enters a new era with RSA Cosmos

The Eclipse, Experienced on Site 🌑✨

Yesterday, the sky offered us one of those spectacular moments that remind us why we look up at the stars. 🌌

For this eclipse, the RSA Cosmos team was on site to fully experience this unique event, alongside passionate astronomers and partners who share the same fascination with the universe.

We had the pleasure of sharing some wonderful moments with the teams from Cosmocité Planetarium, Sébastien Gauthier, and our Chinese partner Merak Cosmos. Great conversations, observations, and above all, unforgettable memories around a celestial event that we don't get to experience every day. 🔭

📸 Some of these images were captured by the Merak Cosmos team, perfectly showcasing the magic of the moment: the eclipse unfolding above the Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar.

And because SkyExplorer is always somewhere in our minds when it comes to exploring and simulating the wonders of the sky, we also recreated this scene in our software: the same celestial configuration, the same landscape, but this time… in SkyExplorer. ⭐✨🌟

A beautiful way to bridge real-world observation and simulation, and to keep exploring the sky even after the eclipse has passed.

🌍✨ One of the greatest values of the International Planetarium Society (IPS) Conference is the opportunity to bring together passionate people from across our industry.

IPS is a place to meet fellow enthusiasts, exchange ideas, create meaningful connections, and support one another by sharing expertise with the global planetarium community. We firmly believe that knowledge grows when it is shared, and that collaboration is essential to the continued development of our field.

At RSA Cosmos, sharing our experience and know-how is second nature. That is why several members of our team took the stage during IPS 2026 to contribute to inspiring discussions and knowledge sharing:

They also expressed how proud RSA Cosmos and Konica Minolta are to have supported, organized, and contributed to the success of IPS 2026 in Fukuoka.

Today marks the final day of IPS Fukuoka 2026. 🌏✨

If we had to sum up the last few days at our booth, we would say that it was about much more than showcasing a spectacular exhibit featuring a giant section of a 20-meter dome in true 10K resolution. 🏛️🎥

It was an opportunity to meet passionate people from all around the world 🌍, representing a wide variety of countries, cultures, and perspectives. It was a chance to demonstrate the latest version of SkyExplorer 2027 live 🚀, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and share our vision for the future of immersive experiences.

Over the course of the event, we also had the privilege of participating in and leading workshops and talks 🎤💡 covering a wide range of inspiring topics, from technology and innovation to education, storytelling, and audience engagement.

We were also delighted to share this experience alongside the team from 3D Emotion⁠, who were presenting their brand-new fulldome production, H2O: The Cosmic States of Water. 🌊 It was a pleasure to see their latest work showcased at IPS and to celebrate together the creativity and innovation that continue to drive our industry forward.

And, as every great event should, IPS Fukuoka also gave us a few moments to simply have fun together 😄🍜🎉. Between live demos, discussions, workshops, and catching up with friends from across the globe, there was never a dull moment.

A huge thank you to the organizers, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, and attendees who made this event such a memorable experience. 🙏 Your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication are what make this community so special.
