Together with our longtime partner Nowatron Elektronik, we have upgraded the projection systems for both 2D and 3D shows.
For 2D projection, 6 new SONY GTZ380 projectors installed last year deliver deep blacks and outstanding brightness, ensuring exceptional image quality and contrast. For 3D, the system has been upgraded with 2 Barco N4K45 units, offering unmatched luminosity and exceptional visual performance ✨
We are proud to take part in this festival and to ensure that participants can fully enjoy all the competing shows in the best possible conditions 🎥

🎬 Highlights from the Beijing International Film Festival at the China Science & Technology Museum (April 20–22)

This major event brought together Chinese filmmakers, representatives from science and technology museums across China, and industry vendors. Over 40 films – both Chinese and international – were screened throughout the festival.

RSA Cosmos was proud to take part alongside its local partner, Merak Cosmos. Our exclusively distributed show H2O was presented during the festival, delivering a unique immersive experience to audiences.

Together with Merak Cosmos, we also hosted a booth featuring an impressive large LED screen, showcasing:

✨ High-quality 8K video content

Heureka has completely reimagined its planetarium, delivering a flagship experience that connects visitors with the universe in a powerful and emotional way. With the highest resolution in Europe, the installation sets a new benchmark for immersive environments.

On a Real 10K dome, SkyExplorer looks simply stunning, offering an unrivaled level of image quality, with exceptional sharpness, depth, and realism. Powered by Sony projection technology, every detail comes to life, turning each show into a fully immersive journey. 🌌

Beyond the technology, this project stands out because of the people behind it. Passionate teams, working hand in hand, made this experience not only possible, but truly special. 🤝

We are extremely proud to have supported Heureka in the complete renovation of their planetarium, contributing to a project that raises the bar for science centres across Europe. 🚀

RSA Cosmos is proud to announce its contribution to the upcoming LED planetarium dome at the New Science Centre Singapore 🚀

Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and set within the stunning Jurong Lake Gardens, the New Science Centre Singapore is poised to become an iconic landmark, where architecture, science, and nature converge 🌿✨

Built around the inspiring concept of “Science Meets Nature,” this next-generation destination reimagines STEM engagement through immersive, experience-driven learning 🔬

At the core of the project is a 20-meter planetarium, powered by the RSA Cosmos SkyExplorer system and featuring a state-of-the-art LED dome with REAL 8K resolution 🪐 Leveraging advanced LED technologies and patented innovations, RSA Cosmos delivers exceptional visual performance tailored specifically for planetarium environments.

The planetarium is designed with flexibility at its heart. From a traditional tilted dome theatre to immersive experiences like indoor “night camping” under a digital sky, the space can be transformed in minutes thanks to a fully reconfigurable seating and flooring system, a first in planetarium design 🔄 This versatility enables the venue to host a wide range of events, including concerts, conferences, and banquets 🎶

This ambitious project is being delivered in close collaboration with our Singapore-based partner, Siong Ann Engineering, renowned for its expertise in theatre and stage engineering 🤝

Scheduled to open in late 2027, the New Science Centre Singapore is set to become a leading science destination in Southeast Asia, a true hybrid of Science & Nature, driving innovation and welcoming international audiences 🌏

On March 17–18, 2026, the new SkyExplorer User Forum took place at the Miryang Arirang Space Observatory in South Korea 🌌✨

More than 40 delegates from across the country joined us at Miryang Planetarium 🪐👩‍🚀 to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and explore the use of SkyExplorer in Korean planetariums. This event was the perfect opportunity to showcase the latest innovations from our SkyExplorer and FreeDome software suites 🚀🖥️, including new features developed directly from user feedback.

South Korea has been, for several decades now, a vibrant and essential hub for the RSA Cosmos community 🇰🇷. This strong and dynamic ecosystem has been built and nurtured thanks to the outstanding work of our partner Metaspace, whose dedication to supporting users and fostering collaboration is truly remarkable—once again clearly demonstrated through the success of this forum 🙌
