CONTEST RULES
“Instagram Contest – Apprenticeship Contest”

Article 1: Organizer
Dassault Systèmes, headquartered at 10, rue Marcel Dassault - CS 40501 - 78496 Vélizy Villacoublay Cedex - France (the “Organizer"), is organizing a contest entitled “Instagram Contest – Apprenticeship contest (the “Contest") which is governed by the following rules (the “Rules”).
Article 2: How to participate to the Contest
The contest is open to anyone who subscribed to Dassault Systèmes’ Instagram page (the “Participants”).
The Contest is free of charge, with no purchase necessary, and requires Internet access.
A Participant may only participate in his/her own name and may under no circumstances participate on behalf of other individuals or on behalf of any incorporated or unincorporated legal person (e.g. companies/associations/etc.).
Any entry made by a Participant or any award of prize to a Participant who does not meet the above-mentioned criteria or any other conditions stipulated in these Rules shall be canceled.

Participants are fully informed and hereby acknowledge that this Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered, or associated with, Facebook nor Instagram.
Article 3: How the Contest works
3.1. Term of the Contest
The Contest is open from May 5th, 2026 at 5 p.m. CET until May 12th, 2026 11:59 p.m. CET, as follows:
Participants will be invited to like, follow and tag someone in the comments to participate to the contest.
3.2. Winners selection
Among all those who subscribed to the Dassault Systèmes Life Instagram page, liked and commented under the publication, the Organizer, through its Communication Agency Havas Paris will select by manual draw (on an excel document) 5 winners.
Article 4: Prizes
4.1. Prizes designation
Each of the 5 winners will receive one of the following Prizes:
• A DS jacket €39
• A Compi €8
• A notebook €8
• Pen €7
(total €65)
4.2. Awarding Prizes
The prize will be sent to the 5 Winners by UPS, once their name, postal address, phone number and email address has been validated through an exchange by Instagram messages, within twenty days (20) following the end of the Contest.
If the Winners don’t reply with their contact details within the ten (10) days following the day we contacted them to announce they’re one of the Winners, the Organizers reserves the right to do another selection of the Winners.
The Prizes may not be challenged by the individual Winners, in any way, nor returned for any amount of money, nor modified, replaced or exchanged for any reason whatsoever.
Should circumstances require, the Organizer reserves the right to replace the Prize with another prize of equivalent nature and/or value, without being held liable in any way.
Article 5: Obligations and duties
5.2. The Organizer cannot be held liable if, due to force majeure or any event beyond its control, the Contest is canceled, extended, shortened, postponed or modified. Likewise, the Organizer cannot be held liable, and no action may be taken against it, in the event of cases of force majeure (strikes, bad weather, etc.) which partially or totally deprive Participants of the possibility to take part in the Contest and/or the winners of their gains.
5.3. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Rules at any time and to take any decisions it may consider relevant to the application and interpretation of the Rules. The Organizer may inform the Participants of this by any means of its choice. The Organizer also reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend, postpone or cancel the Contest or one or more sessions of it, or to modify access conditions and/or operating procedures, without notice.
5.4. The Organizer may under no circumstances be held liable for any incidents that may occur in the use of the prizes on the part of the beneficiaries once the winning Participants have taken possession of them. Likewise, the Organizer cannot be held liable for the loss or theft of prizes on the part of beneficiaries once they have taken possession of them.
5.5. The Organizer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, whatever its cause, origin, nature or consequences, even if it has been informed of the possibility of such damage occurring due to:
➢ Malfunction of the Internet or computer equipment (hardware and/or software and/or databases and/or data) of a Participant or, more generally, to any other problem related to telecommunications networks, resources and services, computers (online or offline), servers, Internet access and/or hosting providers, computer equipment or software, databases and anyone's data;
➢ Anyone’s accessing the Internal Platform or the impossibility of accessing it.
➢ Use or inability to use the Internal Platform, including any damage or viruses that may infect the Participant's and/or Organizer's computer hardware or any other equipment.
The Organizer shall not be bound by the foregoing, and Participants shall therefore not be entitled to any compensation or indemnity of any kind whatsoever.
Article 6: Reimbursement of participation costs
It is agreed that no reimbursement shall be issued to Participants as regards Internet costs, due to the virtually universal usage of Internet and in accordance with constant jurisprudence.
Article 7: Connection and use of the Internet
Participation in the Contest implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misuse or theft, and the risk of contamination by viruses that may be circulating on the network. The Organizer shall not be held responsible in the case of misuse or incident related to use of computers, access to the internet, or maintenance or malfunction of the Contest servers, telephone lines or any other technical connection, nor to any entry form sent to an incorrect or incomplete address.
The Organizer assumes no liability for misuse or any incident arising from, or relating to any malfunction of the Internet network obstructing the smooth function and/or process of the Contest, any failure of any receiving hardware or the communication lines, loss of any data transmitted by Internet, functioning of any software, consequences of any virus, computer bug, anomaly, technical failure, any damage caused to a Participant's computer, any technical, hardware and software failure of any type whatsoever that precluded or restricted the possibility of taking part in the Contest or damaged the system of a Participant.
Article 8 : Data Privacy
8.1 In order to take part in the Contest, each Participant must provide certain personal information, such as his/her email address (the “Personal Data”), which will be automatically communicated to 3DS via the Internal Platform. The said Personal Data are collected and processed by the Organizer solely for the purpose of managing and promoting the Contest. The Organizer's policy on privacy and the use of Personal Data is available at the following address: http://academy.3ds.com/legal/privacy-policy/. This policy will apply to each use, collection and processing of Personal Data in connection with this Contest. As a result, each Participant explicitly consents to the collection and processing of Personal Data for the purposes mentioned above.
8.2 Any Personal Data collected in the context of the Contest will be processed in accordance with the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the “Legislation on Personal Data”). Personal Data may be collected through the Site used in connection with the Contest and subsequently disclosed and used by a 3DS subsidiary for the purposes set out in this article. The Organizer may transfer the Personal Data of Participants outside the European Union, provided that prior to the transfer of such Personal Data, it has verified that all entities (including subsidiaries of 3DS) receiving such Personal Data and non-European entities offer sufficient security guarantees and an adequate level of protection, in accordance with the Legislation on Personal Data.
8.3 Any Participant in the Contest is entitled to access their Personal Data, and has a right to request rectification, portability, limitation of processing, updating or erasure thereof. Any Participant also has the right to obtain a copy of their Personal Data kept by the Organizer. Any Participant may exercise their rights by sending an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. Each Participant residing in the European Union, Lichtenstein, Norway or Iceland has a right to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
Article 9 : Time zone
All times indicated herein are to be understood as based on the French time zone.
Article 10 : Responsibilities & disputes
Participation in the Contest involves the unconditional acceptance of the Rules in their entirety, the terms of use applicable to the Internal Platform and the applicable laws and regulations in force, particularly current provisions that apply to Contests.
Consequently, failure to comply with any of the rules described above, in particular with the Rules, fraud or attempt or suspicion of, or any incomplete or inaccurate statement, or any violation of other provisions, shall result in disqualification of the Participant. In addition, the Organizer reserves the right, in case of fraud, to bring proceedings before any competent court against a Participant who has committed such fraud. The Organizer reserves the right to perform any verification in order to apply the present article, by requesting proof from the Participants of their compliance with each of the Rules herein. Any Participant who does not meet these Rules and/or refuses to provide proof of compliance with them at the request of the Organizer will be excluded from the Contest.
In no event shall the Organizer be liable for damages incurred by a winning Participant for the use of a prize. The Participant is solely liable for any use of the Internal Platform.
Any claim or challenge related to the Contest (i) must be made in writing and sent to: “Instagram Contest –Apprenticeship Contest - Dassault Systèmes, People Social Media, 10, rue Marcel Dassault – 78496 Vélizy Villacoublay Cedex – France and will not be taken into consideration more than 30 days after the Contest has closed.
No response shall be made to any written request concerning the interpretation or application of the above Rules, the mechanisms or procedures of the Contest, or the list of Winners.
The Organizer shall have sole jurisdiction of any dispute related to the Contest and its Rules.
Article 11 : Applicable law - Jurisdiction
These Rules are governed by French law and in particular are subject to the French regulations in force relating to contests.
Any complaint must be addressed in writing to the Organizer's registered office, as specified in the preamble to these Rules, within 30 (thirty) days after the end of the Contest, to the exclusion of any other method. After this date, no claims will be accepted.
Any dispute arising during the Contest will be the subject of an attempt at amicable settlement between the Organizer and one or several Participants. Failing agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the provisions of the French Code of Civil Procedure.
