Do you sometimes experience a creative slowdown when working on a passage of a document? Or feel uninspired by your current translation?
There's nothing worse than getting stuck on a sentence while scratching your head trying to come up with the right word. Perhaps you'd be better off leaving the segment as it is for now, instead of losing your time (and patience!)?

Solution? Marking a given segment as 'Pending' allows you to move on to other parts of your translation and come back to it later, hopefully with a fresher head and more inspiration.

*During the proofreading stage of the translation process, you can easily filter the pending segments out. That way, you don't have to worry about forgetting about it, or sending a draft version of the document.

*Segments with a 'pending' status do not get automatically sent to the TM, you need to mark them as 'translated' first.

*The 'pending' status will also be useful to the proofreader when you send them your work!
