🎬 Looking back at some of the highlights from in Houston!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to spend time with our Viridien and Sercel teams throughout the week.

At our booth and across the technical program, our people were at the heart of the conversations — sharing expertise, exchanging ideas and showcasing how innovations across geoscience, digital sciences, and sensing and monitoring technologies are helping our industry uncover new insights and make faster, more confident decisions.

From advances in subsurface imaging and case studies across key regions and complex geological environments, to AI-enhanced data transformation and optimized HPC solutions, IMAGE was a great opportunity to bring together the breadth of knowledge and experience across our teams and the wider industry.

From marine geophysics to seismic imaging.

Rob Allen holds a PhD in Marine Geophysics from Imperial College London and joined Viridien in 2022 as an Imaging Geophysicist. He uses cutting-edge technology to build detailed models of the subsurface, working on projects around the world from Norway to India.

What he enjoys most? The combination of advanced technology, global projects and strong collaboration with his teammates.

Congratulations to Petrobras on a significant milestone for exploration in Brazil's Equatorial Margin. 🌊

Petrobras has announced the presence of hydrocarbons in the Morpho-1 well, in block FZA-M-59 offshore Amapá, an important result in one of Brazil's most closely watched frontier basins.

As drilling and evaluation continue, Morpho provides a valuable new data point for understanding the petroleum potential of the Foz do Amazonas Basin and raises an equally important question: what does this result mean for the surrounding acreage?

🌎 Through the Amapá Phase I & II multi-client programs, jointly developed by Viridien and TGS, explorers can access seismic coverage across Morpho and the surrounding blocks, extending into deeper-water areas of the basin. This regional context helps place the Morpho result within a broader basin framework and supports evaluation of prospectivity across the wider area.
