Sourced: in Normandy, France Origin: French Age: circa 1960-70's Producer details: Artisan made item in the Normandy region by an unknown producer 50+ years ago Product number: 080125002 Materials: wood Size roughly: 41h x 32 x 26 cm - 16h x 12.5 x 10 inches extreme measurements (seat 26 x 17.5 cm - 10 x 7 inches) Weight: 1.3 kg (over 2kg when safely wrapped so expensive to ship but cost of shipping is the same from 2kg to 5kg. Buy something else of a similiar weight at the same time and we can likely ship it in the package for no extra charge!) Condition: in vintage condition with signs of previous use, wear and scratches, these stools are initially made without the use of glue or nails and rely on good joints only, usually over the years the joints wear a little, the joints on this one have wiggle and movement, especially where the legs enter the seat, if for static lighter use such as a plant stand it is strong and stable as is but if its going to be moved around a lot we would suggest a competant woodworker takes a look to stiffen up the joints a little, the legs are starting to poke up through the seat a little, the varnish is very worn, note the marks to the seat where a plant pot has stood, a fair example of these very popular stools, please see all pictures.
