We are thrilled to announce that we have received FDA clearance for our virtual reality (VR) surgical planning solution! This marks a major milestone for our team and a game-changer for the medical field.

AVATAR MEDICAL helps surgeons better prepare their procedures through the use of virtual reality representations or avatars of their patients. More than 100 surgeons from 20 different hospitals and universities, including UMass Chan Medical School, The City University of New York, and Columbia University, have benefited from the solution. To date, it has been used for case studies, student education, and patient engagement, leading to 6 medical publications. The FDA clearance paves the way for surgeons to adopt our solution in the treatment of their patients.

We are grateful for the collaboration and support from the surgeons, hospitals, universities, and healthcare professionals throughout the development and regulatory clearance process. Together, we are driving innovation and transforming the future of surgery.

The Future is Now!

As Meta starts to create immersive healthcare experiences in the metaverse, AVATAR MEDICAL is ALREADY leveraging Virtual Reality to improve the field of surgical planning and training, with a network of pilot sites both in the US (Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine …) and France (Institut Curie, Hôpital Marie-Lannelongue...).
