🎧 **DEUS II — SOUND IS EVERYTHING**

**How much can you learn from a signal before you dig?**

A short, sharp response. A rounded sound. Low iron tones mixed with a promising target signal...

With DEUS II Full Tones, the audio can tell you much more than you might think.

In this video, we explore real detecting situations where listening carefully helps interpret targets, recognise signals in iron-contaminated ground and judge how close a target might be.

**Don't just hear it. Understand it.**

🎧 Turn up your attention, put on your headphones and listen carefully!

**DEUS II users: what do you listen for before deciding to dig? 👇**

XP ICON — LIVE INSIGHTS 🎬
Lightweight? Absolutely. But that's not all. 👀
During our XP ICON Live Show, Michael caught up with Merrill, who was detecting live from the beach.
And when Merrill demonstrated how far the coil could pick up a target, the reaction said it all: “Wow! That's really high!” 😮
Sometimes a live demonstration speaks louder than words.

🇫🇮 3,000–4,000 Viking-Age coins. Two hoards. One extraordinary discovery.
In Finland, Kalle made an incredible discovery: two hoards found around 10 metres apart and approximately 45 cm deep, containing an estimated 3,000–4,000 Viking-Age coins, along with silver artefacts. 🔎🪙
And the detector behind the discovery? Kalle's trusted XP DEUS with a 13" elliptical coil.
But the story goes far beyond the find itself. As soon as Kalle realised there was silver in the ground, he reported it to the authorities, allowing archaeologists to investigate the site and its historical context.
🎬 Michael Eakers spoke with Kalle to hear the full story — from the first signal to the historical importance of this exceptional discovery.

DEUS II — FROM THE FIELD 🎙️
Every detectorist has their own way of using DEUS II.
We met Oskari from Finland 🇫🇮 and took a quick look at his setup: 9" coil, his own custom program and Full Tones.
From water to fields and forests, it’s the setup he relies on wherever he detects.
No standard recipe. Just the setup that works for him.

Michael has been detecting with both — and his experience might surprise you.
Beyond performance, he also highlights something that really stands out with ICON in the field: its stability.
