With a little help from Compare 2, Select 2 lets you perform full wave rectification on any audio or CV source. Simon demonstrates how it works. We're absolutely positive you'll never look at Select 2 in the same way again. PS: the 'absolute' switch on Warp 1 makes full wave rectification even more straightforward.

We don't like feedback patching—we love it. In this patch Flow 3 is used as a crossover for a sound coming from Generate 3. While the LP and HP outputs are processed seperately through a Fold 6 and Warp 1, the BP out is used for FM on the oscillator, thus closing the feedback loop. Fun times!

Flow 3 is perfectly suited for creating percussion or kick drum sounds. All you need is a trigger! If you then combine Flow 3's envelope output with Pivot 2 and some creative patching, you end up with something that sounds a lot like sidechain compression. Just add bass to taste!
