Ten years ago, Ikerne joined Mansoft as an intern, starting out with a market research project exploring the potential of Theatron in Spain.

👩‍💻
A decade later, as our Export Manager, Ikerne manages customer relationships and development projects with theatres across Europe, helping us bring Theatron and aRMaS to new markets and adapt our solutions to the needs of different theatres.

⭐️
As a colleague, Ikerne is someone you can always count on. She is highly structured, gets things done, and brings a thoughtful and caring approach to both her work and the people around her.

🚶‍♀️
And if you ever wonder how she manages it all, you might find the answer behind her desk: she has a walking mat, which might just be part of the secret to keeping things moving!

Two weeks ago we hosted a webinar with our Theatron users to gather their feedback ahead of the upcoming launch of TheatronGO.

It was great to see how eager our customers are to contribute to the development process, share their experiences, and help us shape what comes next.

We are now working on the evaluation and implementation of the gathered ideas and want to thank all the people who participated in this webinar. 🙏🏻 Great products are built together.

At the end of May we celebrated Theatron 20 with customers in Helsinki. Now, here's a closer look at what two decades of theatre planning has looked like with Theatron 🎭 Some numbers that stood out to us:

→ 175,000+ performances planned in Theatron since the beginning
→ ~9,000 performances planned per year on average (per customer) - up from under 1,000 in the early days → One long-standing customer alone has planned 13,000+ performances with us
→ 10,000+ performances already planned for next season

Of course Theatron has always been about more than the performances themselves. Behind every one is a huge amount of planning and coordination and supporting that behind-the-scenes work is what Theatron does best.

We've said this many times, but it's worth repeating: none of this would have been possible without our customers, who've shaped Theatron every step of the way!

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Theatron’s 20th anniversary at the Finnish National Theater 😍

During the day, we:

💻 Had a look at the latest system updates
💡 Heard insightful customer presentations
🎭 Enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre
📱 Shared a first look at our upcoming app

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to connect in person. We truly appreciate everyone who joined us and made the day so special.

Happy World Theatre Day! 🎭

At Theatron, we’re proud to support the incredible theatres and teams who bring stories to life every day.

Theatre is more than performance, it’s connection, emotion, and shared experience. It’s the place where stories come alive and where audiences and creators meet in a moment that only exists once.

Today, we celebrate everyone who brings theatre to life, on stage and behind the curtain. 👏🏻👏🏻

"The essential is invisible to the eye"

09/03/2026

🎭 Founded in 1976 by a collective of artists led by Fabià Puigserver, Teatre Lliure in Barcelona has become one of Spain’s most influential centres for theatrical creation and performance.

Its historic venue, Lliure de Gràcia, has hosted some of the most iconic productions in the history of Catalan theatre. Its flexible and transformable stage layout it introduced a new model of theatrical expression to Catalonia and helped shape a generation of stage innovation.

Today, through the Ànima Lliure initiative, the theatre continues to push boundaries by championing diversity and inclusion. The project opens the stage to voices, perspectives, and bodies that are too often absent from traditional performance spaces, transforming the theatre into a place where the invisible becomes increasingly visible.

Teatre Lliure was our first customer outside the Nordic countries, seven years ago. We are proud to collaborate with a pioneering theatre that has consistently led the way in artistic innovation, inspiring others in the performing arts community. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yesterday we had the opportunity to experience ice hockey booth. With colleagues from both Turku and Rauma on the Mansoft team, the TPS vs. Lukko game was the perfect match for us 🏒
