Today, Scailarc, Elisa and Nokia demonstrated a new calling experience where a phone call becomes more than just a voice connection and the call was made with the Jolla Phone.

Elisa's President & CEO Topi Manner called artist Robin Packalen, and Robin handled what the call was about without ever answering it and without needing an app. It runs on IMS Data Channel technology with trusted caller verification enabled through Nokia's Network as Code platform, and the call was made with the Jolla Phone.

Yesterday, we gathered at Kaupinoja Sauna in Tampere for a planning day that turned into a hackday as the evening rolled in. 🔧🔥

Update to Sailfish OS 5.2 is coming soon. We’re putting the finishing touches on the release and working through the last few fixes. Once they’re sorted and integrated, we’ll be ready to roll it out to all supported devices.

While we’re shipping Jolla Phones every day and steadily ramping up our operations to full speed, over 2,500 are already with customers across the Europe. Batch #3 will take us to 10,000 phones delivered in just two months - which is a lot for our operations, thus please bear with us 🫶 and we truly appreciate your patience as we scale up the production, fulfillment and customer services. Now it's the Sept II batch's turn! ❤️ We've started to send out final payment links. If yours hasn't arrived yet, don't worry—it's on its way. Once you receive it, choose your colour, your preferred accessories, and complete your order by August 16 to lock in your September delivery.
