Happy May Day! Hyvää vappua! 🎈

Today, we celebrate our incredible team, partners, and community. The Jolla team kickstarted the May Day celebrations in the office by enjoying some traditional Finnish mead and doughnuts.

We also checked out the students' May Day celebrations in Tampere, and handed out patches to spread the word about our flagship product the Jolla Phone and the Digital Independence citizens’ initiative, which Jolla proudly supports.

We wish everyone a joyful and well-deserved day of celebration!

Yesterday we told you about Jolla appearing on Viiden Jälkeen by Finnish national TV channel MTV. Today they published the full story! 🎉

MTV wrote about digital sovereignty and whether a Finnish mobile operating system could be the European alternative (article in Finnish 🇫🇮). There are only four mobile operating systems in the world: two American, one Chinese — and Sailfish OS. The only truly European one.
