When unexpected snowfall across the Cascades created travel challenges, patient care still couldn’t wait. At MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, Incyte Pathology received an unscheduled Frozen Section case requiring immediate support.

On site, Pathologists’ Assistant Jael Williams prepared the specimen and placed it on the Grundium digital scanner, enabling Dr. Stanley Leung to review the case remotely in real time despite the severe weather.

We’re pleased to announce that we are expanding our presence in Greece and Cyprus through a partnership with BioAnalytica S.A. 👏🏼

With 35+ years in the healthcare market and 20+ years of Anatomical Pathology expertise, BioAnalytica supports public hospitals, private diagnostic laboratories, and reference pathology centers across the region. They also bring hands-on experience from successful pathology laboratory digitalization projects in Greece, delivering integrated workflows that combine equipment, software, training, and technical support.

Through this collaboration, Grundium Ocus® digital slide scanners will become part of BioAnalytica’s digital pathology portfolio, helping laboratories adopt compact, high-performance, and scalable scanning solutions.

We’re hiring: FPGA & Hardware Verification Engineer (Tampere, Finland)

At Grundium, verification is where reliability is earned. In this role, you’ll take ownership of verification for our FPGA and digital hardware subsystems in Ocus® digital microscope slide scanners.

This is a verification-focused position: building solid verification environments and testbenches, running FPGA/HW tests, and driving root-cause analysis together with designers – helping shape quality, testability, and long-term maintainability.

This role is primarily on-site in Tampere. Some remote work is possible, but the core of the position involves hands-on collaboration and lab-based verification.
