Managing Director, Mikko Hörkkö
As the Managing Director, Mikko oversees all aspects of our company's operations, from human resources and financial management to sales and networking. Mikko gets motivated by challenging work and challenging goals, as well as the encouragement of the environment, which helps to get the job done.

Development Director, Elina Juntunen
She's one of the company's founders. She leads and supervises various working groups, organizing their efforts towards the company's objectives. In addition to that, she also takes the lead in the conversation of the company’s values and responsibilities. Elina’s days include participating in meetings of projects, resourcing, sales, and marketing, from communication to the surveillance of AI product development.

Chief Technology Officer, Ari Juntunen
Ari, also a co-founder of the company, holds the position of Chief Technology Officer. He currently works heavily on ElinarAI development as an AI architect while bringing various forms of AI to complement Elinar and our partner solutions on top of IBM Business Automation and Analytics product stacks.

Understanding the AI buzz: GenAI vs. Descriptive AI

With the rapid advancement of technology, terms like GenAI and Descriptive AI have been buzzing around. But do you know the difference between GenAI and Descriptive AI? 🔍

🔹 GenAI, short for Generative AI is an AI model that has been pre-trained and fine-tuned to generate responses from data that human accepts as valid communication. Generative AI is extremely good at creating text snippets that can be used in reports and other written communication. They are great for writing aids and can be used to augment Chatbots with great effect.

🔹 Descriptive is an AI model that has been pre-trained and fine-tuned to generate metadata from unstructured input data like business documents. Typically, Descriptive AI can extract complex metadata with high accuracy and classify documents into multiple dimensions as needed.
