🌲 EUDR has been delayed – but preparation shouldn’t be.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) has once again been postponed. The requirements, however, remain unchanged, and they will affect the entire wood industry value chain.

The new EUDR timeline:
📌 30 December 2026 – Compliance deadline for large and medium-sized companies (all operators placing relevant products on the EU market) under the revised timeline accepted by the Council and Parliament.
📌 30 June 2027 – Extended deadline for micro and small enterprises to meet EUDR obligations.

📌 30 April 2026 – European Commission must present a simplification review report on the regulation, evaluating administrative burden and potential further measures.

👉 The additional time is meant for preparation, not for waiting.

Companies that start now will:
✅ build traceability processes in a controlled way
✅ avoid last-minute pressure and rising costs
✅ strengthen trust with customers, partners and authorities

🏆 Asiakkaamme Halpa-Hallin verkkokauppa ykkönen EPSI Kaupan ala 2025 - tutkimuksessa!
