In 2018, three students, Jonatan, Oskar and Jakob, founded technology company qte in Karlskrona with 50,000 SEK.
Five years later, qte was named the best among Blekinge’s gazelle companies, with 441 percent growth. Gazelle status is one of Sweden’s most prestigious recognitions for growth companies.
That same year, the company was named Sweden’s 8th best workplace by the Great Place to Work. In 2026, qte reached Di Mästargasell status, having demonstrated continuous, stable growth over the long term.
In 2024, they joined forces with Qvik, continuing a strategy that has remained the same from the very beginning: always aim a little bigger.
“The fact that Qvik showed interest in us was proof that we had built something sought-after in the Swedish market. We were drawn to the opportunity to keep doing what we do, but on an even bigger scale,” says Jonatan Arnlund, CEO and co-founder of qte.
