How much control should AI have in healthcare? 👀
It’s a question our Solutions Consultant, Veera Häkkinen, has spent quite some time exploring.
With a background in nursing and technology, Veera understands healthcare from both sides. And when it came to choosing a topic for her master’s thesis at Tampere University, she wanted to explore something that connects these two worlds.
Her thesis explores how AI could be used in patient self-management, what responsibilities healthcare professionals would have, and where human oversight should fit in.
We sat down with Veera to talk about her thesis, the conversations she had with healthcare professionals, and what she learned along the way.
