🌞 Happy Midsummer from QOCO!

In Finland, Juhannus is one of the most beloved celebrations of the year. It marks the height of summer with light-filled nights, bonfires by the lake, and time well spent with family and friends.

Traditions include:
🔥 Lighting kokko (bonfires) to ward off evil spirits
🌸 Picking seven flowers and placing them under your pillow (for dreams of your future spouse!)
🧖‍♂️ Relaxing in the sauna and enjoying the peace of nature

Today, QOCO Systems Ltd., a pioneer in the digital transformation of aviation maintenance for airlines, MROs, and OEMs, announced a strategic update to its executive leadership. Mr. Matti Nevala, a seasoned executive with over 10 years of track record in leading growth companies, has been nominated Chief Executive Officer, effective March 18, 2024.

Mr. Ilari Neitola, the founder and current CEO, will transition to a Senior Advisor role within the executive leadership team. In this capacity, he will focus full-time on innovation, strategic projects, and leveraging his deep understanding of both the company and the industry.

"It has been an honor to lead QOCO as its founder and recently also as a CEO. I am confident that Matti will bring fresh perspectives and drive our company towards new heights. On this World Environment Day, we are proud to share the incredible progress we've made through our environment initiative on Evergreen.

🌳 Total trees planted: 694 trees 🌳
With every recognition made by our crews through Evergreen, we are also planting trees. Since the launch of this initiative, we have planted a total of 694 trees! This unique initiative allows us to acknowledge our employees' achievements while making a positive impact on the environment.

♻️ Total carbon offset: 58,296 kg ♻️
Through our efforts, we have successfully offset a staggering amount of carbon emissions. This achievement alone is equivalent to 15 roundtrips from New York to Beijing!

These trees not only provide us with cleaner air and a healthier ecosystem but also symbolize our dedication to a sustainable future. Together, we are making a significant difference in the fight against climate change and working towards a greener and more sustainable world.

Yesterday, QOCO crews gathered at the stunning seaside resort of Majvik to celebrate a memorable summer party.

The day began with a productive workshop focused on improving team communication and fostering a positive working atmosphere. In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed a range of activities, including sauna, mini-golf, Mölkky, and so on.

The festivities continued into the evening with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and an enchanting show. we all had a fantastic time, filled with laughter and joy. It was a delightful celebration of our team's achievements and a chance to connect and have a great time together.
