What does it take to turn breakthrough research into a startup investors want to back?

Join us for the second event in the Founder Funding series as we explore the leap from research to a venture-backable company, with quantum technology in the spotlight.

We’ll bring together Jussi Kallasvuo from Antler and Mikko Möttönen from QMill for perspectives from both sides of the table: investing in early-stage companies and building a business around scientific breakthroughs.

Prompt Talks Ep. 2: Understanding the Quantum AI Business

AI is moving beyond individual apps toward infrastructure, compute and real business use cases. But what does the next phase actually demand, and where does quantum fit in?

In the second episode of Prompt Talks, Oliver Snellman and Ilmo Salmenperä from QuTwo join us for a fireside chat on building useful AI in the quantum era: what is hype, what is real today, and what founders and builders should understand about the compute layer underneath it all.

Followed by audience Q&A, snacks and conversations.

The 3-part Founder Funding series is back for the fall kicking off with fundraising in hardware startups.

Join Aaltoes and Icebreaker VC for a fireside chat with Urho Konttori, founder of Varjo and Distance, moderated by Riku Seppälä, General Partner at Icebreaker VC.

Bringing together founder experience and an investor’s perspective, we’ll explore what it takes to raise funding while building a hardware startup. What makes hardware fundraising different from software? What do investors look for in hardware founders?

Come hear insights from both sides of the table and learn about hardware funding whether you are looking at a career as a founder or an investor, or you are just curious. The conversation will be followed by a traditional Q&A and networking.

Prompt Workshop 6: Build Agents for Studies

Due to high demand we are organizing a second workshop on building agents for studies!

Study season is back. Most people use AI to answer individual questions: one prompt, one response, done. A study agent does something different: it runs the whole workflow. Agents can also act as personal assistants for you along your study journey, managing your calendar, following deadlines, helping you with communications and finding interesting events and opportunities.

Join us for a hands-on workshop on:
• How study agents differ from a single AI prompt
• Vibe coding and agent building basics
• Live build-along: everyone ships a working agent before we close

Skill level: Intermediate; you don't have to be familiar with building agents
