ATTENTION TO ALL EM TECHNOLOGY USERS!!!
This is the second time we are announcing this information. The producer and supplier of EM products in Ethiopia is Woljejji Agro-industry PLC, located in Bishoftu (Debre Zeit), Oromia Region. The PLC has a direct contact with the creators of the technology and delegated to produce (under the close supervision of the Japanese organization, EMRO) and supply, mainly, Stock EM (SEM) to the users in Ethiopia. On the other hand, Woljejji created professional agents in Regional States to produce activated EM (AEM) from SEM and distribute to the farmers and other users. We the regional agents do not produce or supply Stock EM (SEM) as this product is dormant and not used for innoculating animal feed(straw, hay etc.). However, after activating the SEM, AEM is produced and used for animal feed amelioration. The recommendation is this:
1. one litre AEM
2. one litre molasses or 1/4 kg sugar diluted in one litre water
3. eighteen /18/ litres of chlorine free water
The above are mixed together and applied /sprinkled/ over 50 to 70 kg of straw or hay until moist and wrap the canvas, put stone and keep it for 24 hours. The next day, the straw can be fed to the animals. It is recommended that the straw has to be consumed within three days to get the best results.
