Innovative Services Provider is a recently, mid 2014, established local business to provide tech services to the local community. That being the beginning, however, SOLETECH ISP aspires to provide innovative tech services nation wide and beyond in the long term. It has become operational by leasing the smallest so called "broad band" ADSL by the sole ISP provider in Ethiopia, Ethio telec
om, which is 256 Kbps bandwidth for two regular subscribers and a Wi-Fi for daily patrons at the condominium near bus station in the historic and tourist city- Aksum. Due to unexpected subscription demand, just within a month the bandwidth has been upgraded to 512Kbps and it is most likely to be upgraded to 1Mbps in the beginning of June. If the pace of demand for subscription continuous at the current rate, certainly and soon Soletech will surpass the maximum bandwidth it can get from Ethio telecom, which is 4Mbps, ironically the smallest "worth to be considered world broadband" by FCC standard as reported in 2010.(see link: http://www.technewsworld.com/story/70480.html). And that will indicate the thirst for information in our community. As indicated in the outset, SoleTech is a beginner of a "new in its kind" service in Aksum and would like extend its welcome gesture for joint venturer expatriates.
