1. Explosive isometric exercises improve sprint and jump performance just minutes after ex*****on due to increased neural drive and tendon stiffness.
2. 100% maximal isometrics are not always the best. Program 70–80% efforts for the same strength gains with less fatigue and more volume tolerance.
3. They skyrocket RFD (rate of force development) if the athlete applies maximum intent from the first millisecond.
