We are creating 76 purpose-designed observatory spaces on 14 high-altitude acres in Pie Town, New Mexico.
After more than a decade of operating remote observatories, we’re bringing everything we’ve learned together to create an astro farm unlike anything else in the mainland US.
Why Pie Town?

• True Bortle 1 skies
• Around 300 clear nights each year
• Typical seeing of 1 arcsecond or better
• Low humidity
Work is already underway. Access roads are being built, and the first observatory plot is being leveled ahead of construction and supporting infrastructure.
Planned observatory spaces and swing diameters:
• Small — 9 × 36 inches
• Medium — 20 × 48 inches
• Standard — 43 × 60 inches
• Large — 4 × 84 inches
