Independent; a multilingual mobile application made for handicapped people (Blind, Deaf and Mute). The goal of this application is to enable anyone with special needs to interact easily with people around the world and to have a better social life without any help from others, briefly it is to make anyone with special needs “Independent”.
The application will contain two sections, the first for deaf and mute and the second for blinds. The deaf and mute section contains two features; “What Is Going?” which is a notification system used to notify deaf and mute people with different things such as doorbell at the time they need using the vibration of the mobile, also at this section there is a feature called “Tell Mine” which is converting sign language into voice and voice into sign language that will be shown on the mobile screen to help deaf and mute to interact easily with anyone.
The blind section contains two features; “A B C” which is text reader and writer that will convert the text into voice and the voice of the blind into text to help him/her to read and write easily and the other feature is “Who Is Near?” which is facial recognition for blind people using camera in which the application will notify the blind when a friend or anyone is near.
There will be additional features such as a guiding tool in public places to guide the blind in his/her way at anywhere in the world and help him/her to find any place he/she wants to go to and there will be also another feature that will enable any blind to read any text from any book using the mobile camera.
The application will be implemented on different mobile and tablet platforms, also it will be developed with more and more features, finally this application is considered as the first one in its kind at Egypt and the world.
