Service Delivery Engineer is needed for immediate hiring for a multinational company located in Heliopolis, offering flexible working hours, benefits, and a competitive salary.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience in software implementation, technical support, deployment, or professional services. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to configure, deploy, integrate, and support our solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from implementation through go-live and post-production support.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, install, and configure enterprise software solutions across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Gather and understand client business and technical requirements and translate them into solution configurations.
- Configure system workflows, business rules, and customer-specific requirements.
- Integrate solutions with client and third-party systems using REST APIs, web services, and messaging technologies.
- Configure and validate connectivity with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Execute database scripts, perform data validation, and support basic troubleshooting activities.
- Support system testing, UAT activities, production deployments, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and connectivity issues by analyzing logs and system behavior.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare implementation documentation, configuration guides, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Deliver client training sessions and provide technical guidance during project ex*****on.
- Ensure timely follow-up on customer issues, project actions, and implementation milestones.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing project updates and issue resolution status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Implementation, Service Delivery, Technical Support, Professional Services, or Deployment Engineering roles.
- Good understanding of databases and SQL concepts.
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments.
- Understanding of application deployment concepts and software architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in a client-facing environment.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Technical Skills
- SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
- RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.
- API testing tools such as Postman.
- Jira or similar ticketing/project management tools.
- Basic understanding of Java, Python, or scripting languages.
- Application deployment and configuration experience.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is a plus.
