🌟 IEEE PUA SB DAY 🌟

In the passing Tuesday 17/12/2024, it was a special day full of energy and excitement! 💥 At IEEE PUA SB Day, we gathered with a group of talented students from various fields and got to know each other while learning about the team’s vision and the great opportunities that will open up this season. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with students interested in contributing to the community and making a difference.

💡 The day started with inspiring talks from speakers who shared their insights on how to integrate creativity and innovation into engineering and technology. We also reviewed the team's journey over the past years and the plans for this season, and how we can all be a part of the change and development in our fields.

🎓 After that, we explained the team’s structure and the areas where you can get involved, as well as the steps to join the team. The engagement and interest from the attendees showed how passionate and ambitious everyone is to participate. Additionally, we provided information on how to register for various IEEE opportunities.

✨ A big thank you to everyone who attended and made this day special! Special thanks to the speakers for sharing their valuable insights, and we appreciate everyone’s participation. We are excited for the upcoming stages, and insha'Allah, we will be together in the upcoming events.

يوم الثلاثاء اللي فات 17/12/2024 كان يوم مميز ومليان طاقة وحماس! 💥 في IEEE PUA SB Day، تلاقينا مع مجموعة من الطلاب المبدعين من مختلف المجالات، وتعرفنا مع بعض على رؤية الفريق والفرص الكبيرة اللي هتتفتح في الموسم ده. كان اليوم فرصة رائعة للالتقاء مع مختلف الطلاب المهتمين بالمساهمة في المجتمع وتغيير الواقع.

💡 بدأنا اليوم بمحاضرات ملهمة من المتحدثين اللي شاركوا برؤيتهم حول كيفية دمج الإبداع والابتكار في مجال الهندسة والتكنولوجيا. كمان استعرضنا معاكم خطوات الفريق السنين الي فاتت وخططه للموسم ده، وازاي ممكن نكون جزء من التغيير والتطوير في مجالاتنا المختلفة.

🎓 بعد كده،وضحنا مع بعض التقسيمه الفعليه للتيم و الاماكن الي ممكن تشارك فيها مع التيم ،شرحنا خطوات الانضمام للفريق، وكان واضح من التفاعل الكبير والاهتمام من الحاضرين إن كل واحد فينا عنده شغف وطموح للمشاركة. كمان، قدمنا تفاصيل التسجيل في الفرص المختلفة في IEEE.

✨ شكراً لكل الناس اللي حضرت وخلّت اليوم ده مميز! شكر خاص للمتحدثين اللي قدموا رؤيتهم القيمة، وبنشكر كل واحد فيكم على الحضور والمشاركة. متحمسين جدًا للمرحلة الجاية وإن شاء الله هنكون مع بعض في الفعاليات القادمة.

في الأسابيع اللي فاتت، IEEE رجعت وبقوة بمجموعة من الفعاليات المميزة اللي جذبت اهتمام طلاب السوفتوير والهاردوير! 💻⚙️ وكالعادة، هدفنا الأساسي هو تقليل الفجوة بين الدراسة وسوق العمل عن طريق توصيل الطلبة بالخبراء في المجال. ومن أبرز الأحداث اللي بدأنا بيها كان Vortex، اللي كان نجاح كبير وحاليا في خطوات تانية تكمله له، وبداية لحاجات أكبر جاية قريب!

لكن استعدوا لحاجة أقوى وأكبر! 🎉

🌟 Event Recap: IEEE PUA SB X Vortex Robotics Academy 🌟

On 04/12/2024, IEEE PUA Student Branch proudly collaborated with Vortex Robotics Academy to host an inspiring session aimed at introducing their mission and recruiting passionate students to join the Pharos Pioneers Team.

The event began with a warm welcome from our new officers: Hozaifa Moustafa, Chairman, and Ahmed Osama, Vice President. They greeted the attendees and extended heartfelt thanks to Abdelrahman Aboklila, CEO of Vortex Robotics Academy, and his team for joining us. A special acknowledgment was also given to Prof. Mohamed Hamdy, head of electrical engineering department, faculty of engineering, PUA. our esteemed guest, for his motivational opening remarks.

The session then shifted to the Vortex team:
🔹 Abdelrahman Aboklila shared the inspiring journey of Vortex Robotics, detailing its foundation and growth over the years.
🔹 Eng. Mariam delivered an engaging talk about the skills and details required for the competitions Vortex has proudly participated in.
🔹 Eng. Mohamed Salem delved deeper into the competitive landscape, highlighting practical skills and knowledge that build upon Mariam’s insights.

To conclude the event, IEEE PUA presented a small prize to one lucky student, celebrating the spirit of participation. The day ended with claps, joy, and a sense of excitement for the opportunities ahead!

Engineer Muhmmed Salem: Mentor & Embedded Linux Engineer 🌟
We’re excited to feature Engineer Mohamed Salem, a graduate of Alexandria University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering (2022).

🚀 From Competitor to Mentor:
Mohamed achieved 2nd place nationwide in the MATE competition and qualified for the U.S. finals. As a mentor, he guided a team to secure 3rd place in the U.S. finals. Currently, he works as an Embedded Linux Engineer at CairoMotive, specializing in advanced automotive technologies.
