Exciting news 🤩 Shape Technologies joins Mastercard Start Path Acceptance 💳

Mastercard selected Shape Technologies, a Bamboo Group portfolio company, for its latest cohort. Over four months, Shape will work directly with Mastercard’s experts and global network to explore configurable infrastructure, process automation, and embedded payment models. The collaboration targets new growth in acquiring, PayFac, and ISV ecosystems.

“We have a rare chance to turn this opportunity into real-world impact,” says Jack Mangnall, Co-Founder of Shape Technologies. “We will build practical answers for payment orchestration.”

Bamboo Agile, part of Bamboo Group, built Shape’s underlying technology. It helps payment businesses launch faster through an out-of-the-box web platform.

Wrapping up our participation at Stockholm Smart City Expo.

One thing stood out across the event: the boundaries between infrastructure, automation, and urban systems continue to disappear. The industry is moving toward more connected and operationally intelligent environments.

It was also great to see such a diverse Nordic presence throughout the expo, with Swedish, Finnish, and Norwegian companies actively shaping the future of smart cities.

For us at Bamboo Group, these were two intensive days full of valuable conversations, new connections, and a closer look at where the market is heading next.

Day 2 at Stockholm Smart City 🌆, and it's time to introduce our partners at the stand.

Sandcore manufactures composite infrastructure products and provides sensor-rich devices that make infrastructure connected. And Bamboo Group provides the monitoring platforms and apps that turn that data into action.

Today we're showcasing SMARTHATCH, a smart device for manhole covers that monitors liquid levels, temperature, and gas concentration, detects cover openings, and alerts operators instantly before incidents occur.
