Good conversations. Real impact. And a setting that reminds you what it’s all for.

Our colleagues Priit Kongo, Indrek Pajumaa, and Piret Vahter joined fellow IT-sector representatives at Kadriorg, invited by President Alar Karis, to reflect on the outcomes of the recent state visits to Berlin and Dresden.

What stood out? The ripple effect is real.
Those visits are already strengthening relationships and creating tangible opportunities for Estonian companies abroad.

We’re grateful to be part of these conversations—and even more so to see the President’s genuine commitment to supporting Estonian businesses internationally.

It gives confidence. And it gives momentum.

Aitäh, Net Group! 💜

Net Group liitus TI-Hüppe programmiga, et panustada Eesti koolides tehisaru teadlikku ja mõtestatud kasutamisse. Net Groupi juhi Priit Kongo sõnul peaks TI-Hüpe kõikidele sotsiaalselt vastustundlikele ettevõtjatele korda minema, sest hästi haritud järelkasv on eelduseks, et Eestis ka kümne aasta pärast teravaid pliiatseid inseneri- ja tehnoloogiaerialadele võtta oleks.

Kongo kutsub ka kõiki teisi Eesti ettevõtteid oma oskusteabega TI-Hüppe partneriks hakkama. Tema sõnul on see on koht, kus tehnoloogiavaldkonnas tegutsevaid ettevõtteid ei pea nägema karmide konkurentidena, vaid mõttekaaslastena, kes panustavad laiema ühise heaolu ja ka majandusliku edu nimel.

TI-Hüpe tänab tunnustusmärgisega ettevõtteid ja eraisikuid, kelle toetus teeb Eesti tulevikku kujundava programmi elluviimise võimalikuks. Meet our team lead Mikk Mihkel Vaabel and Sandor Negols.

Sandor is a young tech enthusiast who reached out to us with real curiosity and a big interest in how AI is used in real work. We decided to spend a day together and show instead of explain.

His questions were simple, but great ones.
How do you understand where technology truly helps a business?
And how do those ideas become real, custom solutions?

Giving young people access to real work and real people takes effort, but the return is worth it. Fresh thinking, new questions, and genuine motivation.

That is why we will take part in a job-shadowing day later this fall.

And why we are already planning a Summer University focused on mentoring, real projects, and hands-on learning.

Entering a new market is not about speed. It is about consistency and trust.

On January 29, the German business season opened with a reception at the newly renovated Estonian Embassy in Berlin.

For NetGroup, it also marked an important milestone.
Our second active year in the German🇩🇪 market, supported by the Embassy’s continued openness, guidance, and ability to connect the right people.
We are grateful for that support.

And encouraged by the progress we see as partnerships take shape and conversations turn into real work. 🤝

Local AI was one of the most mentioned topics at the AI Conference Tehisaru 2026, organised by the Justiits- ja Digiministeerium

No external databases.Training only on internal servers.Data stays in-house.
In many cases, this is the right requirement.

But data is still #1 thing to keep in mind.

AI only works when there is underlying data it can learn from.
That data must exist, be accessible, and be fit for purpose.

So the real question is not where the model runs.
It is how your internal data is governed and securely used.
This is where most Local AI initiatives succeed or fail.

Our CEO, Priit Kongo , recently shared the Estonian eGovernment experience with a German audience in a leading eGovernment e-magazine.

The perspective is shaped by practice.
NetGroup has partnered on multiple national initiatives, including eGov App📱, helping bring the e-state closer to citizens through real, working digital services.

And this was not presented as a distant success story.
But as proof of something concrete.
Government digitization can work.
If there is a will. And in Germany, there is.

The lesson from Estonia is not about size, culture, or exceptional technology.
It is about taking a first irreversible step.
Estonia did not start with perfect systems.

It started with a clear stance: digital is not an add-on to administration.
It is the administration.
Everything else followed: One identity. One digital entry point. Multiple public services.
Designed around life events, not ministries. 👶🏻🏫🏥🏡
From the citizen’s perspective, there is one digital front door, even when several authorities operate behind the scenes.

Future builders in the house. 👋🏻

Lennart, a junior from a local high school, reached out to us. He’s curious about IT and wanted to experience a normal day inside a modern tech team.
Courage is one of our core values, so saying yes was easy. 🙌🏻

Young people don’t need career slogans, they need a real look at how work actually happens, so Lennart spent the day job shadowing our team lead Jane Makke.

Not just watching, but getting real context of how technology supports business needs, and how teams are led day to day.

A big thank you to Lennart for his courage and curiosity, and to Jane for taking the time to share her experience and perspective. 🙏🏻
