Here’s some tips how you can change the visual appearance of your Community Tools website.

Background imageSite’s background image is set in group settings. If there’s no image set for current group, the main group’s image is used. To change, enter the group and choose Edit. You can upload new image or change the current one.

CT II beta 3 brings changed base technology behind our mapping functions. Now you can choose from a variety of base layers, draw lines and areas on map, switch to full-browser view, and more ..

The focus of this version was on changing the base tehnology behind our map and mapping functions. This gives us more flexibility in this version as well as provides a solid foundation to move forward with more advanced functions in future releases. Here’s what’s new in beta 3:

NotificationsA daily newsletter about content changes and new comments is sent to users who can subscribe to groups, tools and individual posts. Group managers are notified about new users and subscription requests.

This weekend Community Tools presented in Cohabitat Gathering, Lodz, Poland. Had a great time there and met a lot of inpirenig people.
