🤖 Should we even hire developers anymore?

It's a very good question that more and more companies are asking now that AI can write code in seconds.

Fair enough.

Yes, AI can already generate boilerplate code, write tests, explain functions, and help to solve everyday programming tasks much faster than before.

So... do we still need programmers as much as we used to?

Absolutely.

Because the more complex the work gets, the more valuable experienced developers are.

AI is great at speeding up repetitive tasks. But it still struggles with things like designing software architecture, understanding business requirements, making trade-offs, reviewing code quality, and solving problems that don't have a clear answer.

To put this in other words: AI is changing how developers work, not why we need them.

🤖 AI is writing more code than ever!

Sooo... do you even need developers anymore?

That’s a very fair question, when the headlines are telling us that AI now generates a significant share of the world's code. But here's the interesting part.
