We had the honour of welcoming a distinguished delegation of Saudi Arabian government and business representatives to Tallinn Airport, including Saud Alarifi, GM of Privatization & PPP at the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, to experience autonomous mobility in a real-world operational environment. 

The delegation took part in an autonomous ride aboard Auve Tech’s MiCa shuttle, supported by our remote supervision team monitoring operations from the Remote Supervision Center. 

The demonstration showcased the autonomous transport service that operates daily, efficiently moving employees and supplies in the airport. We would like to thank the delegation for their visit and, as well as EIS | Enterprise Estonia and Nortal for organizing the visit.  Photos: Silver Gutmann

Full-scale autonomous operations are already here, delivering real value every single day

Auve Tech’s autonomous shuttle MiCa is operating autonomously across Tallinn Airport grounds, providing efficient transport for both employees and equipment.
This isn’t a temporary trial with an expiration date. It is a fully integrated, permanent commercial operation driven by a 100% European company.
Getting to this level of maturity required absolute discipline:
Today, we have officially surpassed 26,272 kilometers of active commercial operations—completely excluding the thousands of testing miles it took to get here. Every kilometer logged now represents real, daily value delivered.

At Metrosert’s proving grounds, MiCa was evaluated in repeatable scenarios involving pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, obstacles, and intersections, helping validate safe and reliable autonomous operation.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished delegation of Estonian ambassadors to our autonomous mobility project at Tallinn Airport.
The guests experienced a ride with our MiCa autonomous shuttle and saw firsthand how our remote supervisors can oversee two autonomous shuttles simultaneously.
Thank you for your visit and for the engaging discussions on the future of autonomous transportation and Estonian innovation.

This week, Auve Tech had the honour of hosting Mayor Hashimoto of Sakai City and a distinguished Japanese delegation in Tallinn.

The visit included a ride with our autonomous shuttle MiCa at Tallinn Airport and a tour of Auve Tech's remote monitoring centre. It was a valuable opportunity to showcase how autonomous mobility can serve different use cases, from public passenger transport in Sakai, to employee and MRO parts transport at Tallinn Airport.

The delegation also had the opportunity to meet with Tallinn Mayor Peeter Raudsepp. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mayor Raudsepp for welcoming the delegation and to H.E. Ambassador Nakamura for joining the discussions.

We thank our guests for the insightful exchanges and look forward to strengthening collaboration between Estonia and Japan in autonomous mobility and innovation.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the German Ambassador to Estonia, Jan Scheer, for a ride on our autonomous shuttle MiCa in Tallinn Airport where transports airport staff daily.

We had the pleasure of hosting representatives from HHLA group.

Our guests joined us from both Muuga Harbour and the Port of Hamburg.

During the visit, we showcased an autonomous ride with MiCa within the restricted area of Tallinn Airport, along with an introduction to the remote control room that ensures the vehicle’s safe operation throughout the journey.

We would like to thank the HHLA group for their visit and for the engaging and insightful discussion.

Our second deployment in Yabu, Japan

Since November 2025, MiCas have supported local mobility by connecting hospitals, train stations, city hall, and local stores. Helping elderly residents stay mobile while addressing driver shortages.
Building on our earlier demonstration in 2025, we expanded from one to two autonomous shuttles and extended the route to serve more of the community.

Palju õnne Annika Kaalep ja Karolina Kudelina-Zhang, kes pälvisid Presidendi Kultuurirahastu Noore Inseneri preemia!

Auve Techil on au toetada seda olulist tunnustust, millega tõstetakse esile silmapaistvaid noori insenere, kes panustavad jätkusuutliku tuleviku loomisse.

Annika Kaalep töötab Põhja-Eesti Regionaalhaiglas elutegevust tagavate seadmete talituse juhatajana ning on ühtlasi ka praktiseeriv biomeditsiinitehnika insener.

Karolina Kudelina-Zhang on Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli Virumaa kolledži energeetika teadur, kelle uurimistöö keskendub tehisintellektil põhinevale elektrimasinate seisundiseirele ja tööstusdiagnostikale.

Nende panus inseneeria valdkonna arengusse on märkimisväärne ning selgelt eeskujuks.
