For all the wondering where their 'Return to Ariba' button went, Ariba has recently deployed an update removing their functionality. In most environments Ariba will now open the shop in a new window. It's still possible to add a 'Return to Ariba' button on the side, but it requires some small modifications.

Note that during the punchout process it is possible to add tax and shipping to the cXML cart / quote / order message that is sent back to . Coupa Software has a good sample that shows how to add it to the header. It's also possible to add it per line or as a separate item, depending on your customers requirement.
