Summer Spartakiad 2024 is over and ✅
 
We experienced it all:
⏰There were early morning wake-ups and a few late bedtimes😴
🌞A bit of rain, plenty of sun, and a couple of sunburned faces 🌧️
🦁Exceeding personal physical limits, trying out many new things for the first time in our lives, small disappointments, many proud results, and more than 20,000 daily steps.

All in all, it was an amazing time - lots of fun, new friends, and strong support from colleagues. 
 
Our 17 team members participated altogether in 26 different activities. 
 
Well done everyone all! 🏅

At the end of February, Riverty Tech Hub hosted the #10 Tallinn Meetup „Change Mode Activated“. Why choose change as a central topic? Afterall, change is inevitable – embrace it. Direct it. Change is required to maintain peak performance and competitiveness. Initiating and driving change is difficult and takes careful planning, which is why we wanted to share our experience with driving change in Riverty.

Here at we know the importance of continuous learning and having a supportive community behind your back along the way. A community can only exist thanks to the contribution of its members, which means that sometimes it is our turn to take the lead.

A big thank you to the meetup crew who made it happen: our very own Kristjan Haavik, Kristen Poola, Kristiina Peterson, Taniel Kasemägi, Kairi Kaur, Kadri Kosk and the lead of Tallinn Agile Meetup series Julia Västrik.

Especially on today’s international women’s day, we at Riverty would like to remind ourselves of the importance of creating and striving for an inclusive and fair world. Looking at current global statistics we see that we as a society still have a way to go. Listen closely! How many languages do you hear? 👂🗣

In our everyday lives we are confronted with various languages. Whether it is at work, at school, in our free time or at home. And even if you know one language only, you may have recognized that your tone of voice and choice of words differ when you talk to colleagues, friends or family!

On today’s International Mother Language day, we want to join people from all around the world in celebrating multilingualism 🥳 But how many different languages are represented at our Riverty offices?

Spread over 32 locations, you can find more than 80 different nationalities and languages at Riverty! We are very proud of our cultural and linguistic diversity. It is what helps us to take up new perspectives and therefore enables us to grow continuously. For us, it is important to reinforce every single employee to be themselves. This includes making room to express themselves in their mother tongue and feeling respected and tolerated in doing so.

Our experience has shown: Although there might be potential language barriers, we always understand each other. Because our way of welcoming everyone is what brings us closer together. 💖✨

Here are some insights for you: We asked our employees to record the following sentences in their mother tongues: “Hey, I am [name] and my mother tongue is [language]. Have a great day!” Enjoy listening to all those different languages!

Andrei Tuch and Kaur Joakit from Riverty were there at Atlassian's High Velocity ITSM event in London, to share their experience in building advanced Jira & Confluence solutions, and to support Arvato Systems CTO Johannes Siebzenrübl's on-stage presentation of his company's Cloud migration experiences.

Many employees at Riverty from many different nationalities work around the clock to provide the best services to Riverty customers. Sometimes they will leave their home countries, which can be both exciting and scary. In Estonian Riverty office there are 28 different nationalities. office in Tallinn wants to make their employee's journey in as smooth and easy as possible.

Therefore we offer classes that make integration into a foreign country more accessible. The Estonian classes project has been active almost a year and in that time 31 have been trained. Participants are visibly happier and more confident in living their everyday lives.
