📣In the Prototron Spring Batch 2026, two early-stage technology startups received funding, sharing a total of €35,000 to develop their first working prototypes.

🏆The winners were announced at the finals held during Latitude59, where seven strong technology ideas competed for the funding.

The funding was awarded to Öseen (€20,000), which upcycles brewing waste into a functional high-protein and high-fibre flour using mycelium, and Proctera (€15,000), which is developing procurement software for manufacturing companies, covering the entire process from engineering to suppliers.

In addition to the funded teams, the finalists included:

Intentum AI – developing the first sales tool designed to disappear.
Takara Medical – accelerating biomaterial innovation in regenerative medicine.
Post-Walk Dog Wash Station – developing a post-walk dog wash station to help owners keep their homes cleaner.
Triangel.AI – a deal-to-delivery intelligence platform connecting sales promises, contracts, and actual delivery.
Glurry – developing a next-generation diabetes care platform.

Yesterday, our Prototron Spring Batch 2026 TOP7 stepped into a friendly spotlight at Swedbank Eestis and got a hands-on introduction to the art of pitching by Harald Lepisk (inspiratsioon.ee)

They challenged themselves with 3-minute presentations, tested their ideas in real time, and received immediate, honest feedback to sharpen their message.

This is just the beginning. Soon, they will be on Latitude59 stage: Glurry, Intentum AI, Öseen

📂 Together with Kati Pino from , Prototron Top 20 teams unpacked the intellectual property essentials every startup should know.

Founders got a clear overview of how to protect what they’re building – from understanding the differences between copyrights, patents, and trade secrets to knowing when and how each applies. A strong focus was placed on making sure IP rights are properly transferred to the company.

A big thank you to Kati and Hedman for empowering our founders with the knowledge to protect what they’re building. 🚀

Prototron teams took a deep dive into Sustainable business training in a hands-on session led by Mihkel Tamm from Swedbank Eestis. 🌱

Through a series of practical exercises, teams defined the positive change they aim to create while also mapping potential negative impacts. A key takeaway: sustainability claims must be measurable, clear, and truly attributable to the business. The session wrapped with setting ESG-focused KPIs, encouraging teams to focus on what they can realistically measure and influence.
