The Institute of Sciences at Naama University, in collaboration with the Cyber Brains Club, organized an academic day dedicated to training and research at the doctoral level in the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science, with the participation of professors and researchers from various disciplines.
This scientific day featured a rich program divided into three main sessions:
🔹 First Session: Mathematics and Statistics
The speakers presented contributions on mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence in scientific research, solutions of non-local equations, and bi-conformal maps on Riemannian manifolds.
🔹 Second Session: Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
This session included valuable presentations on topic extraction from Arabic texts using LDA and AraBERT, as well as research in information retrieval and modern knowledge graphs and their relation to artificial intelligence.
🔹 Third Session: Mathematics and Statistics
Researchers discussed solutions of partial differential equations using neural networks, unsupervised learning methods, and the development of natural metrics such as the Mus–Cheeger–Gromoll Metric.
At the end of the day, participants were honored and certificates of appreciation were awarded, amid an inspiring scientific atmosphere that strengthened the spirit of research and collaboration among students and professors.
Special thanks go to the attending professors, the organizers, and the Media–Organization–Communication Unit for accompanying and supporting the activities of this scientific day and contributing to its success.
