We talk to Brielle Rankins about her time on Set with the Christmas Movie 8-Bit Christmas that is still steaming on HBO Max.
Brielle entered the world as a fighter and she has not stopped!
On June 8, 2008, the world bore witness to a miracle. Born 5lbs 3 ozs, Brielle Rankins was premature with severe intestinal blockage and required immediate surgery. Brielle underwent a total of 3 major surgeries, was on the ventilator 3 times, and spent her first 7 months in the hospital. Resilient, Courageous and high spirited; Brielle continues to make her mark on the world with her extraordinary gifts of acting and singing. Brielle was born into a very creative and supportive family full of multi-hyphenates. Her father, Thomas "Da Answer" Rankins Jr, is a Producer, Clothing Designer, and Musician, with five albums. Her mother, Brandy "BrandyWine" Rankins, is a Published Author, Poet, Actress, and Co-Manager to Brielle and two of her siblings; Jah'Mir Poteat (Actor and Producer) and Braelyn Rankins (actor and singer) along with Thomas and LINK Entertainment. Brielle was born in Cleveland, Ohio and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoys writing poetry, bike riding, swimming, meeting and playing with friends. Brielle made her movie debut in 2021; Co-starring with Neil Patrick Harris, in the HBO MAX movie “8 Bit Christmas.” Stay Tuned for Brielle’s next project coming to a Television and/or Movie Screen near you!
