BLUNOX Control Unit – Communication Integration Options

The BLUNOX control Unit is engineered for seamless integration, offering flexible communication options to meet diverse vessel requirements.

Our standard system supports communication via Profibus. If preferred Modbus TCP/IP communication can be offered. Both protocol’s ideal for interfacing with a ship’s Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) or Rig Control Network (RCN) for oilrigs.

Alternatively, our control unit can be configured with analog and digital connectivity, thus providing three versatile options for optimal system compatibility with a wide range of shipboard control systems.

Two more BLUNOX Digital Airless Multipoint SCR systems are ready for shipment – heading to the yard for installation on a semi-submersible rig.

These installations will ensure compliance with IMO Tier III regulations, supporting cleaner and more responsible offshore operations. Saving more than 600 tonnes NOx per year.

Our new Control and Monitoring System (3040-001) has received official approval from DNV – another major milestone for the BLUNOX SCR solution for NOx exhaust cleaning.
Fully compliant with DNV-RU-SHIP: Rules for classification: Ships (2024-07), this system is ready to deliver reliable and certified performance.

Delivery of SCR Systems.
Four BLUNOX SCR systems delivered to shipyard for installation on a navy vessel.
After installation the BLUNOX systems will enable the vessel to comply with the IMO’s Tier III regulations. The NOx pollution will be reduced more than 90%.
