Help shape the software behind the next generation of offshore autonomy by joining our development team!

For almost 50 years, EIVA has helped subsea professionals operate with confidence.

Today, that increasingly means software and other autonomous technologies that help teams move from manual workflows to automated data-driven under water operations.

To support that journey, we're growing the team behind EIVA's NaviSuite software and the infrastructure that powers it.

Survey and inspection operations rely on software, sensors, navigation systems and sensor platforms working together seamlessly.

Rather than sourcing these components from multiple suppliers, many companies are looking for a single, trusted partner that can provide everything they need through one streamlined rental solution.

In fact, this is one of the biggest trends EIVA's Rental team is seeing.

As Julie Rydberg Elbækgaard, Manager of the Global Rental team, explains:

‘Customers value having a partner who understands the complete workflow – not just individual products in play.’

When software, platforms and sensors are selected to work together from the start, teams can spend less time troubleshooting and coordinating multiple suppliers, and more time focusing on achieving their survey and inspection objectives.

That's why EIVA Rental offers more than individual products. We combine multiple technologies and technical expertise to help customers build a solution that matches their operational needs.

Whether it's expanding survey capacity, accessing specialised sensors or simplifying mobilisation, the goal is the same: ensuring every part of the workflow works together from day one.

Because subsea success isn't determined by a single piece of equipment.

It's determined by how well the complete workflow performs.

From separate components → to seamless workflows.

Connected technologies. Integrated insight. Broader possibilities.

The acquisition of EIVA and the broader Covelya Group by Robotics creates new opportunities to bring complementary technologies and expertise together even more closely.

Though the collaboration itself is not new. One example is the integration of Kraken's sub-bottom imaging (SBI) technology with the ScanFish XL ROTV (remotely operated towed vehicle), bringing multiple sensing capabilities into a single survey workflow to help build a more complete picture of the subsea environment.

To support this integration, EIVA expanded the payload capacity of the ScanFish platform by 700%, enabling the ScanFish XL to accommodate larger and more complex sensing configurations while retaining the proven SBI setup.

For survey teams, this means greater flexibility to capture richer datasets through a single workflow, transforming standalone technologies into integrated offshore insight.

We’re back from DALO Industry Days (hosted by the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to discuss seabed survey and how EIVA sensor platforms and software can help turn subsea data into a better understanding of the underwater domain.

As defence organisations increasingly look to industry for technologies that can help bridge capability gaps below the surface, DALO Industry Days highlighted the important role commercial maritime technologies can play in supporting defence and maritime security objectives.

We were excited to share how EIVA's proven capabilities, now strengthened by the broader Kraken Robotics Group portfolio, support a wide range of applications across offshore energy, hydrography and archaeology among others, while also addressing the needs of defence organisations.

Allowing for precise positioning and navigation enabling high-quality underwater data acquisition and modelling, these capabilities provide the trusted data needed to support subsea survey and inspection operations.

From UXO detection and harbour inspection to seabed monitoring, trusted subsea data helps organisations build the situational awareness needed to make informed decisions in complex marine environments.

Around 70% of geoscience data has a spatial component. So even small positioning errors can lead to inefficiencies, rework and reduced confidence in decision-making.

Whether it's planning a cable route, monitoring offshore infrastructure or managing survey data, organisations rely on accurate positioning information to understand where assets, observations and operations are taking place.

That makes geodesy, the science of measuring and positioning on the Earth, a critical foundation for trusted data.

One of the key topics discussed at the 14th IOGP Geomatics Industry Day was the importance of geospatial integrity and the role of the Geospatial Integrity of Geoscience Software (GIGS) framework in helping identify and reduce spatial data risks.

Our own John Kelly shared how EIVA uses the GIGS test dataset to continually validate geodetic coordinate computations within our NaviSuite software, helping ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability as systems evolve.

As survey operations become more data-driven and increasingly automated, confidence in data quality becomes just as important as the data itself.

From data uncertainty to data confidence.

Many underwater inspections can identify defects.

The real challenge is turning those observations into measurable data that supports confident engineering decisions.

That's exactly what this upcoming webinar from Voyis explores through a real-world canal wall inspection case study.

Using Voyis VSLAM Powered by EIVA NaviSuite software, survey teams can capture high-resolution imagery and transform it into accurate 3D models that help validate coverage, measure cracks and quantify surface degradation.

From seeing defects → to measuring and understanding them.

Join Brody Still and Jason R. as they walk through the workflow, from data acquisition and 3D reconstruction to actionable inspection insights.

No two subsea survey projects are identical.

Yet many survey platforms are built around fixed sensor configurations.

The result?

Teams often have to adapt their survey approach to the limitations of the platform.

Designed to accommodate heavier payloads, the ScanFish L and XL – the larger versions of EIVA's remotely operated towed vehicle sensor platforms – take a different approach.

Their flexible designs and size support a wide range of sensor combinations, enabling operators to select the configuration that best supports their survey objectives and operational requirements.

Because successful surveys start with the right tools for the task.

Not the other way around.

From platform limitations → application-driven flexibility.

From uncertainty to informed decision-making.

Many survey professionals will encounter moments when something goes wrong and there's no senior colleague available to help. That's when confidence matters most.

Before joining EIVA as an Application Engineer and helping develop eLearning content, Carolyn Skerry spent years offshore as a data processor, progressing from small nearshore surveys to major offshore construction projects and pipeline inspections.

In this clip, she describes a situation many professionals encounter during their careers:

‘Something might be going wrong and there's no senior staff around.’

That's where strong foundations matter.

By helping users understand the principles behind NaviSuite workflows, EIVA NaviSuite eLearning is designed to build the knowledge that supports confident decision-making and effective troubleshooting in the field.
