This weekend, 50 passengers were rescued thanks to effective communication between vessel and shore. This incident is a powerful reminder of how critical reliable radio communication is during emergencies at sea.

En ny æra indenfor maritim kommunikation ved Port Sudan ⚓️🌊

Danphone har hjulpet et væld af havne rundt om i verdenen med at modernisere deres GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) og kystkommunikationsløsninger. Det er ikke kun vigtigt for sikkerheden, men også for driften ved havnen gennem forbedring af signalet til fartøjer, såsom eventuelle omdirigeringer, der eksempelvis gik galt ved den famøse Suez Canal-blokering i 2021 🚢

Senest har Danphone haft til opgave at opgradere søfartskommunikationen ved Port Sudan. Havnen er et vigtigt knudepunkt for den maritime handel i regionen, og derfor er det afgørende at forbedre og styrke kommunikationen mellem skibe og havnen 🎙

Ordren betyder, at Danphone nu har leveret kystradio- og sikkerhedskommunikationsløsninger til fem lande i Det Røde Hav-området, hvilket dækker hovedparten af regionen 👏

Stærkt arbejde af en virksomhed fra Nordjylland, som positionerer sig som en betydende aktør for fremtidens kystkommunikation. Noget som vi har været så heldige at hjælpe med at fortælle branchemedier i ind- og udland 😎
