After (and during) the weekends race we have seen and heard various negative comments about the event. We think the rhetoric and tone is too harsh and we are sad that it to some extent overshadows the huge amount of work that goes into making this race.
We have done some thinking…
It was frustrating that not everything went as it should in this weekend's Le Mans. Personally we caused ourselves to crash and finished in the race almost before it started 🫣 we were officially invited back when the servers went down, and had a few minutes of happiness before that invitation was withdrawn. But it is how it is.
Criticism is okay. Expectations are high on an event like Le Mans Virtual. But our experience is that disconnect happens on all platforms and we think we should remember the people behind it, who with initiative, hard work and sleepless nights have created something extraordinaire in love to Simracing - for participants, partners and millions of spectators.
Lots of frustration for participants and viewers, but if we put ourselves in the organiser’s shoes, we’re sure the frustration was even greater for them💔
Therefore a huge thank you to Le Mans and partners for a great setup. And thanks to our team and manager for all the effort. We definately look forward to revenge 🔥
We send you all some orange love and a couple of pictures from the race🏎🕹🧡
